While Dry West Nursery is not a full-service garden center, we do
carry products that support planting and caring for trees, shrubs
and grasses. First on the list is compost. Many common soil problems
can be alleviated or corrected by the simple incorporation of organic
matter, and compost is the single best source of organic matter we
can think of to improve soils that are either too coarse or too fine.
We also expect to have available common types of mulch, as well
as tree stakes and other miscellanea appropriate for tree and shrub
care for both the professional and do-it-yourself landscaper. Other
accessories, such as pots, annuals, bedding plants, potting soil,
or seeds can be readily obtained from local garden centers. If you
want anything more sophisticated than the items we carry, please
ask and we will be happy to direct you to other local businesses
that can help.
